Kirsten earned her Architecture B.A. in 1986 and M.A. in 1991, both from the University of Pennsylvania. After working for Michael Graves & Associates and the Hillier Group, she started her solo architecture firm in Princeton in 1998.

Kirsten focuses on environmentally sustainable residential and commercial development. She is known for her thoughtful merging of old and new, and brings functionality, innovation and sensitivity to every project.

Kirsten has served as Vice-Chair of Princeton Borough's Historic Preservation Review Committee, and as Vice-Chair of the Princeton Regional Environmental Commission.
