Japanese Inspired Additions

The second in a series of three projects for one house, in this addition, the client wanted a version of a traditional Japanese bath, or Ofuro, which combines the tub and shower in one wet room. This project is a marriage of traditional and modern that reflects the owners' diverse traditions and culture.

This addition and renovation features traditional burnt-cedar siding, modern Shoji screen doors, a floor-to-ceiling glass shower enclosure with a sliding door, and a sunken tub with custom vanity.
